Beirut, Aug 12, IRNA – US President Donald Trump's offer to negotiate with Iran will produce no results and is going to be as baseless as the Zionist regime's readiness to engage in talks with the Palestinians, a Lebanese journalist told the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).
'The Israelis suggestion to Palestinian National Authority for negotiations, similar to Trump's offer to Iran, was not an honest one,' said Thorayya Aasi.
'And the Palestinians, who were confident the three Western colonial powers, i.e. the United States, United Kingdom, and France, were supporting them, went forward and engaged in talks,' Aasi added.
'The Palestinian Authority entered the talks with the Israelis under the delusion that they wouldn’t negotiate for fun,' she said.
'But that was not the case,' she stressed.
The Lebanese journalist said that Iran, on the other hand, is nothing like the Palestinian National Authority.
'Tehran is aware of Washington's intentions. Iranians know that the US wants to make them pay a higher price for the 2015 nuclear deal, known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA),' Aasi said.
'Iran cannot accept the US-Israeli demands,' she added.
Saying that the root cause of all the sanctions against Tehran is that it provides support for the Resistance, she added, 'Waging war against Iran and putting the country under sanctions are nothing new.'
'The war against started as soon as the flag in the Israeli embassy in Tehran was lowered was replaced by the Palestinian flag,' Aasi said.
Since the beginning of Iran's support for the Resistance, the world powers have imposed wars and sanctions on them, but Iran didn’t retreat from backing the Resistance, she said.
Referring to the so-called Jewish state law that has been passed in the Israeli parliament, the Lebanese journalist said that the law clearly shows the real racist and criminal face of the Zionists.
She went on to criticize the silence of the global community and Arab countries on the crimes committed by the Zionists against Palestinians.
'Hundreds of Palestinian teenagers and children have been killed, injured or arrested, but not only doesn't anyone reacts, but they are mulling over normalizing ties with Israel,' she said.
'Reactionary Arab rulers that are now among supporters of 'the Deal of the Century' have unveiled their real countenance,' she said.
'In fact they should be described as 'Zio-Arabs',' she added.
Slamming Saudi Arabia, the journalist with the Beirut-based Arabic-language daily Ad-Diayar said that they have shown their real image, what they have been trying to conceal for many years.
They helped the Zionist regime in their 2006 attack Lebanon; they collaborated with the Zionists in the Syrian war, too, Aasi said, referring to the Saudi rulers.
'Now, holders of the 'Moderate Islam', as described by Washington, are racing to normalize their relations with Israel and implement the Deal of the Century, and they don’t feel ashamed,' she emphasized.
Aasi said that like what happened in Lebanon, the Yemen war will finish with the defeat of the Zoinist-Wahhabi invaders.
She added that the Saudis will not be victorious in the Yemen war.
Their masters are now looking for a way out of the war in Yemen and want to introduce the Saudi rulers as the ones mainly responsible for the war and genocide in the country, like what they did to Saddam, the former Iraqi dictator.
