IQNA – A Yemeni media official said Saudi Arabia lacks an independent regional agenda, and its actions consistently serve the interests of the United States and Zionism.

Nasreddin Amer, chairman of the Board of the Yemeni News Agency, said current developments are aimed at imposing Zionist hegemony over the region and altering its political and security landscape in accordance with the “Greater Israel” project.
He emphasized that intelligence cooperation between Saudi Arabia and the Zionist enemy is nothing new, noting that claims suggesting this cooperation emerged only as a result of the recent aggression against Yemen are merely an attempt to mislead public opinion and obscure long-standing prior collaboration, Al-Maseerah reported.
Amer explained that reports detailing this cooperation between the Zionist enemy and Saudi Arabia effectively serve as admissions, revealing the true nature of the normalization of relations with the Zionists—who are considered the arch-enemies of the Arab and Islamic Ummah.
He pointed out that current events must be analyzed within the broader context of the aggression against Yemen that began in 2015, the military strikes carried out by the US, the UK, and the Zionist regime, and, ultimately, the recent escalations by Saudi Arabia.
Amer said the acts of aggression targeting Yemen over the past years reflect coordination within a joint operations center shared by the adversaries. Pointing to the similarities in the methods used to monitor and target civilians, infrastructure, and civilian facilities—which have been subjected to bombardment at various stages—he stated that these actions are directed by a unified operations center and are aligned with the agenda of the Zionist-American adversary.
The Yemeni official cited previous admissions regarding enemy espionage cells—which operated by monitoring locations and targets within the Yemeni capital while maintaining links to American, Israeli, and Saudi intelligence agencies—adding that the claim that recent events have pushed Saudi Arabia toward normalization ignores prior evidence of security and military cooperation between Tel Aviv and Riyadh.
Continuing his remarks on military collaboration with the Zionist adversary, Amer referenced earlier statements by Abdul-Malik al-Houthi concerning the launch of drones from Saudi territory for attacks against Yemen. He noted that the nature of these drones and their flight paths serve as concrete technical evidence that Saudi Arabia has already normalized relations and is cooperating to advance the Zionist agenda in the region.
He emphasized that the multiplicity of parties participating in the aggressive military operations against Yemen—ranging from the United States and the United Kingdom to the Zionist regime and Saudi Arabia—demonstrates that these actions are part of a unified project. This project aims to impose the Zionist enemy entity as the dominant power over the entire region, while violating the sanctity of the Islamic Ummah and its holy sites, all under the direct hegemony of the United States and Zionism.
Amer added that the failure of these aggressive military operations against Yemen signifies the collapse of the gamble to force Yemen into submission for the benefit of the Zionist project—a project that Saudi Arabia has pursued, and continues to pursue, to this day.
