Zelensky’s Dangerous Gambit to Start a World War

The murderous Zelensky regime has yet again attempted to drag the open-minded Iran into its desperate calculation of war. It also wants to broaden the scope of the war.

On 25 July 2026, Ukraine’s de facto president, Volodymyr Zelensky, said that “Ukraine attacked a cargo ship ferrying military supplies between Iran and Russia in the Caspian Sea.” Ukraine used long range aerial drones to attack the civilian vessel. Besides this, he also tasked his intelligence services to share the vital information and satellite imagery about the so-called Russia’s shipment of military hardware to Iran. He alleged that the Russian satellite imagery was used to hit United States military bases in the Gulf region. Zelensky posted on his X account that “These images subsequently appear in Iran. At the same time, there is a clear correlation between Russia’s satellite imagery of these sites and Iranian strikes — both before the attacks, in preparation for them, and afterward, to assess the damage inflicted.”

Zelensky said that Iran is providing Russia with aerial drones and ballistic missiles along with other military equipment to wage war on Ukraine and kill its citizens. However, if the same logic is applied to the military suppliers of Ukraine, then the entire North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) countries, including the United States, could become legitimate military targets for Russia. And, in that case, Russia could launch all kinds of attacks on NATO and other allied nations and their civilian infrastructure.

Diversionary Theory of War and Zelensky’s Attack on Iranian Vessel

Zelensky’s attack on the Iranian vessel clearly adheres to the Diversionary Theory of War, which states that leaders tend to launch new attacks to divert the attention of their people from their unpopularity and becoming irrelevant. One thing is clear: such a Ukrainian attack on an Iranian vessel could not have been possible without the permission of its Western handlers. Ukraine launched the attack to demonstrate its capability in becoming a reliable partner of the US and Israel in their war effort against Iran.

There is another possibility behind Ukraine’s attack on the Iranian vessel that the world has seen: that the US and Israel have miserably failed to destroy Iran and to bring about the so-called regime change. There is a possibility that Ukraine’s supporters, like the US and Israel, might have influenced Ukraine to wage attacks on Iran from the North to divert its military attention from the US military bases in the Gulf region.

One more thing is that Iran has successfully fought and defeated a multinational alliance against it and continues to fight many nations. There is a possibility that the murderous Zelensky regime also wants to enlarge the fighting. But there are entirely different regimes in Tehran and in Kyiv.

Zelensky only wants to broaden the scope of its hostility towards Russia. And, to increase pressure on Iran so that it abandons its support for the Yemeni Houthis and the blockade of the Bab al Mandab.

Zelensky’s desperate attempt to have a role in the Middle East

In March 2026, Zelensky visited Saudi Arabia and signed a 10-year military technical agreement focusing on security and defence agreement along with an energy partnership. It included the anti-drone and anti-air defence systems, and military cooperation in many fields. The Ukrainians also visited the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Qatar, and Jordan. Zelensky has been eyeing the Middle Eastern powers for cooperation primarily against the threats emanating from Iran, Hezbollah, and Houthis. For this to be accomplished, Zelensky is desperately trying to confront Iran and become a part of the Middle East conflict.

Russia’s Stance

Russia has been successfully conducting its special military operation in Ukraine since February 2022. Russia is fully aware of the spoiler nations that illegally installed Zelensky in Ukraine and, using the Western Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), tried to turn innocent Ukrainian people against Russia. Russia also has evidence of the nations providing weapons, military equipment, intelligence, and training to Ukrainians to wage attacks against the innocent Russian people.

Conclusion

Ukraine’s de facto president, Volodymyr Zelensky, is fully determined to turn its war on Russia into a multinational war and to broaden the overall scope of the war. Zelensky’s attack on an Iranian vessel in the Caspian Sea is a clear violation and abrogation of international law. Perhaps, soon we may see the footage of Iranian ballistic missiles and Shahed drones landing in Kyiv, Odesa, Kharkiv, and Dnipro, and destroying the legitimate military targets. It is very much clear that Zelensky has become so unpopular that it is resorting to new attacks on neutral countries.

Now, here one question arises: Would Zelensky also attack North Korea and China? Because China and North Korea are armed with nuclear bombs and intercontinental ballistic missiles, they could evaporate Ukraine in a matter of a couple of hours.
