A member of Hezbollah's Political Council, emphasizing the pivotal role of the martyred Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei in the formation of the Resistance Axis, described him as the theorist, strategist, and steadfast supporter of this front, and said: "The martyred leader, inspired by the teachings of the Holy Quran, transformed the unity of the Islamic Ummah, confrontation with global arrogance, and defense of the Palestinian cause into the most important axes of the discourse of the Islamic world."

Mahmoud Qamati, a member of Hezbollah's Political Council and former Lebanese minister, in an interview with the Taghrib News Agency (TNA), regarding the role of the martyred Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei in shaping the shared identity of the resistance movement, stated: "The martyred, Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Hosseini Khamenei, played a fundamental role in the formation of the Resistance Axis, because he was the leader and commander of this axis."
He added: "He undertook the leadership of the affairs of Muslims and the issues of the Islamic world, especially the issue of Palestine, Lebanon, and other matters of the Islamic Ummah. Therefore, he was the theorist, strategist, and a reliable, steadfast, and powerful supporter of this path."
The member of Hezbollah's Political Council, referring to the intellectual foundations of the martyred leader, stated: "The principles and foundations that the martyred leader (may God have mercy on him) emphasized were based on the fact that all Muslims of the world – Shia, Sunni, and followers of various schools of thought – face a common danger. For this reason, he always emphasized the necessity of Muslim unity, especially on the issue of Palestine and the defense of the rights of Muslim nations."
Qamati continued: "The martyred leader, Grand Ayatollah Khamenei, drew his ideas, stances, and decisions from the Holy Quran. The Quran also emphasizes confronting global arrogance, standing against domination, as well as the necessity of convergence and opening the door of interaction among all Islamic nations to face common threats."
In conclusion, he noted: "The martyred leader will remain alive in our thoughts and hearts, and in the hearts and souls of the entire Islamic Ummah, the Arab Ummah, and especially the people of Palestine. He will also remain in the hearts of all free people of the world as an inspiring role model, a lasting example, and a prominent model of leadership, resistance, and eternal steadfastness."
