Leader warns of ‘malign nature of U.S.’, slams violation of Islamabad MoU

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, has condemned the United States’ violation of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding, characterizing the move as further testament to the “malign nature” of the American establishment.

The Leader’s remarks were delivered as part of a strategic address to the Iranian nation, in which he expressed profound appreciation for the massive turnout during the funeral processions honoring the martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, according to the Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Ayatollah Khamenei denounced Washington for the repeated breaches of the agreement signed with the Islamic Republic, asserting that the move once again proves that the signature of an American President is “worthless and invalid.”

“Bullying, totalitarianism, and savagery are the inseparable components of the American creed and methodology,” the Leader stated. “Today, the Great Satan has once again unveiled its true, maskless face; this dark experience of crime and treachery serves as yet another firm testament to the mendacity, irrationality, untrustworthiness, and malign nature of America.”

Highlighting the steadfast resistance of the Iranian people, the Leader warned against U.S. attempts to incite further conflict. He cautioned that Washington should be aware that the Iranian nation and the Resistance Front hold “unforgettable lessons” for any aggressor—noting that the recent heroism displayed by the soldiers of Islam and the zeal of the people in the southern regions are but a glimpse of such resolve.

In another section of his message, Ayatollah Khamenei praised the public for their “peerless and historic epic” during the funeral procession of the martyred Leader. “You established a new benchmark for the manifestations of the Bi’tha (Divine Mission) and the steadfast will of the Islamic-Iranian identity,” he said.

The Leader lauded the populace for their “profound gratitude, loyalty, insight, and extraordinary affection” for the leadership of the Islamic Ummah. He noted that the massive turnout in Tehran, Qom, Mashhad, and across the nation “drew the admiration of the Iranian nation’s friends and the free peoples of the world, while casting the arrogant enemies of the Iranian nation into astonishment, confusion, wrath, and terror.”

Furthermore, Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized the importance of the “Unity of the Word” and a sacred alliance at all levels—among both the public and state officials. He underscored that this unity is essential for realizing the lofty ideals of the Islamic Revolution and safeguarding the honor and independence of Iran, particularly in the face of the “criminal and deceitful” American enemy.
