TEHRAN- The Iranian ambassador to Belarus and the Belarusian Prosecutor General, Andrey Ivanovich Shved, have highlighted the importance of enhancing legal and judicial collaboration between their nations.
On Thursday, Alireza Sanei engaged in discussions with Ivanovich Shved in Belarus.
During their meeting, both parties assessed the growing ties between the two countries across various sectors, particularly in legal and judicial matters.
They expressed a mutual commitment to advancing their legal and judicial partnership.
Both officials acknowledged the significance of the reciprocal visits made by the prosecutors of their respective countries to Iran and Belarus, as well as the discussions during regional and international summits, including the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Prosecutors' Meeting. They underscored the necessity for ongoing meetings and consultations between the prosecutors of both nations.
Over the past ten years, Iran and Belarus have established agreements related to trade, investment, and cultural exchanges. Additionally, they have collaborated with international organizations, including the United Nations and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
The two nations have also provided mutual support on shared interests, particularly in opposing unilateral sanctions and advocating for multilateralism.
