An Israeli far-right minister has stressed that the regime must establish complete control over the besieged Gaza Strip.
“As I warned, giving up on Israel’s red lines and chasing after Hamas for a deal only makes the chance of bringing everyone home further away. It’s time to learn lessons, change direction, and restore full Israeli control all over the Gaza Strip,” said Bezalel Smotrich, who is Israel’s finance minister in the cabinet of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Smotrich has previously called for Palestinians to leave Gaza.
Israel stands accused of starving Palestinians in the Gaza Strip in particular in the northern part of the territory to force them leave the territory.
