TEHRAN - A member of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee has underscored the impressive achievements of the country’s intelligence bodies in safeguarding the nation, despite organized enemy conspiracies.
"The intelligence bodies tirelessly deploy their capabilities day and night, undeterred, to ensure the country's security," Zohreh Elahian told IRNA on Sunday.
The lawmaker added, "Enemies, including the United States, Britain, the Zionist regime, and their allies have been orchestrating conspiracies against our nation, both domestically and internationally, since the inception of the Islamic Revolution."
Highlighting the resilience of the soldiers working under Iranian intelligence bodies, Elahian stated, "Despite significant efforts and substantial expenditures to sow insecurity, the members of the Iranian intelligence system have successfully thwarted many organized enemy conspiracies."
She continued, "Without the sincere and earnest efforts of the intelligence bodies to ensure the country's security, today we would be witnessing a lot of problems across the nation."
Emphasizing the ongoing threat to national security, the lawmaker noted, “The enemy consistently seeks to propagate unrest in Iran by equipping terrorist groups with advanced weapons in various parts of the country. However, our intelligence agencies have diligently uncovered and neutralized these conspiracies.”
On February 1st, the Iranian Ministry of Intelligence declared the successful identification of a substantial number of Mossad spies linked to the Zionist regime that were operating across 28 countries globally, shedding light on Iran's ongoing efforts to maintain national security.
