TEHRAN, (MNA) – During the 17th meeting of the Iran-Russia Joint Economic Cooperation Commission on Wednesday, Tehran and Moscow inked 15 cooperation documents in different fields.
The 17th meeting of the Iran-Russia Joint Economic Cooperation Commission was held in Tehran in the presence of Iran’s Oil Minister Javad Owji and Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the steps taken in the oil and gas industries and bilateral cooperation in different fields.
Saying that the atmosphere of cooperation between Iran and Russia is currently at the highest level, Owji expressed hope that the bilateral cooperation between the two countries will be further expanded.
Russia is one of the major exporters of agricultural products and Iran is also an importer of agricultural products, so this opportunity can be used to increase trade ties, he added.
