The spokesperson for Al-Qassam Brigades says the threat of an Israeli ground invasion into the Gaza Strip will not deter the Resistance.

The spokesperson for Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, Abu Obeida underlined on Monday that "Gaza will be the graveyard of its invaders."

Abu Obeida affirmed that the threat of an Israeli ground invasion into the Gaza Strip will not deter the Palestinian Resistance, expressing the Resistance's preparedness for the confrontation.

The spokesperson said the Israeli enemy is spreading false claims to cover up its significant failures and is accustomed to killing, committing massacres, killing prisoners, and crushing the skulls of children in all its wars against the Palestinian people and the Arab nation.

Touching on increasing talk of an Israeli ground invasion into Gaza, Abu Obeida said, "We emphasize to our steadfast people and the entire world that the occupation's threat of a ground invasion does not frighten us."

The spokesperson for Al-Qassam Brigades stressed that Gaza will be the graveyard of its invaders and its sand will swallow its enemy, pointing out that any such invasion into the Strip will be a new opportunity to hold the occupation forces accountable for their crimes.

Regarding Israeli captives held by the Resistance in Gaza, Abu Obeida estimated that there are approximately 200 to 250 captives or more, with 200 of them being held by Al-Qassam Brigades. He also noted that the ruthless aggression on buildings and homes without prior warning has resulted in the death of 22 captives so far.

Abu Obeida revealed that the Resistance is holding captives of different nationalities, adding that there was no opportunity to verify their identities amid Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, vowing to keep them safe and treat them well, keeping in mind the indiscriminate Israeli strikes and shelling on Gaza.

He called on all the countries of the world to warn their citizens against fighting alongside the Israeli army, confirming that the Resistance would release foreign prisoners "if the necessary conditions are met."

Elsewhere, Abu Obeida expressed his gratitude to the steadfast and resilient Palestinian people and saluted the martyrs, the wounded, and their families.

He also reassured the families of Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli prisons that the Resistance has made a promise to itself and is determined to bring joy to every Palestinian home regarding the prisoners' file.
