Tehran (ISNA) - Director of the World Heritage Collection of Golestan Palace, referring to the reception of tourists from the Exhibition of Nations (artifacts of 20 countries of the world) in Golestan Palace, said, “The Golestan Exhibition through the lens of nations has attracted the attention of visitors from the perspective of the value of lesser-seen works”.
In the report of public relations and information of cultural heritage, tourism and handicrafts, Golestan Palace World Heritage Collection, Afarin Emami announced this news on Monday, July 25, 2022 and said, “The Golestan Exhibition through the lens of nations in the Golestan Palace World Heritage Collection, with the display of lesser-seen works from the treasure of this global collection, which included works from different countries of the world, was open to visitors and tourists for two months”.
The Director of the World Heritage Collection of Golestan Palace added, “These works include medals donated by the kings of the world to the leaders of Iran, weapons, bows and arrows, dishes and porcelain, typewriters, paintings, cameras and other works, including a piece of Lakh Taranj carpet from Iran. Isfahan has been displayed since the Qajar period”.
Emami clarified, “Also, the oldest Persian typewriter, Naser al-Din Shah's photographic camera, Muzaffar al-Din Shah's menu and an album of Qajar period political figures are on display in this exhibition”.
He continued, “This exhibition includes less seen works from France, Italy, Holland, Austria, Egypt, China, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Ottoman, Armenia, India, Sudan, Romania, Germany, Vatican, Afghanistan, Mongolia, Russia and finally, it is from Iran, which received a significant welcome”.
