'Deal of Century' to Explode Gunpowder Barrels in Palestine

TEHRAN (FNA)- Deal of Century in practice means playing with fire, secretariat of Tehran-based International Conference on Supporting Palestine Intifada stated on Wednesday.
“It is a move that is playing with fire, a fire that will lead to the explosion of barrels of gunpowder in Palestine and in the region,” the secretariat said through a statement released on the occasion of the World Quds Day which falls on May 22 this year.
The statement condemned the efforts of the global arrogance, spearheaded by the US, and the Zionist regime to cast the issue of Palestine into oblivion and make the Palestinians displaced.
It voiced support for the Resistance movement and the fight against occupation.
“Holding a referendum among the real inhabitants of the occupied territories will be a proper solution to fulfill the rights of the Palestinian nation,” it stressed.
The statement said that the assassination of (IRGC) Qods Force Commander Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani by the US forces in Iraq augurs the beginning for greater victories.
“Today, the enemies try in vain to distract the public opinion from the World Quds Day as they are scared of Resistance,” the statement underlined.
The statement concluded that it supports the issue of Palestine and the Resistance movement as a duty, and makes all-out efforts to move in line with fulfilling legitimate rights of the Palestinian nation.
Earlier on Wednesday, Iranian Assembly of Experts urged the Islamic countries to be united against normalizing of ties with the Zionist regime and to stand up for the rights of the Palestinian nation.
“Undoubtedly, the Quds Day is the divine promised day for the US’ decline and annihilation of the occupying Zionist regime; and this will certainly materialize with Jihad and resistance of the Islamic Ummah,” the statement read on Wednesday on the occasion of the World Quds Day.
“Islamic governments should unite against the policy of normalizing ties with the Zionist regime, stand up to support the brave Palestinian nation, and eradicate this cancerous tumor from the heart of the Islamic world by mobilizing all cultural, economic, political, and military capacities,” it said.
Pointing to the spread of the coronavirus across the world which has led to cancellation of public protests on Quds Day, the statement noted that the Israeli regime should not be happy because the Islamic Ummah, especially the Iranian nation, will support the Palestinian cause stronger than ever.
