Ayatollah Abdollahi in Interview with TNA
He is tasked with explaining divine teachings, inviting people, and clarifying truths through reasoning and diverse cultural methods: “Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in the best manner…” These are all aspects of the Prophet’s character.
Ayatollah Abdollahi added: God Almighty says in the Qur’an: “Those who find him written in the Torah and the Gospel, he commands them to what is right and forbids them from what is wrong…” Various expressions describe the purpose of the Prophet’s mission, one of which is illuminating human societies. He rescued humanity from darkness, tyranny, and materialistic despotism, granting life through insight and enlightenment.

He emphasized: One dimension of the Prophet’s personality is his struggle against oppressors and tyrants, and his resistance in the face of them. This universal mission and divine luminous teachings are meant to revive humanity and bring light to mankind, for tyrannical powers cannot tolerate the sovereignty of monotheism and divine guidance.
Ayatollah Abdollahi continued: The enemy seeks nothing but economic, cultural, and political domination. The Prophet’s call to monotheism is incompatible with their nature. The enemy pursues hegemony and attempts to distance the Islamic society from divine teachings, employing all forms of pressure and schemes to achieve this.
The member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom stressed: Enemies, in their efforts to weaken divine teachings and the guidance of the Prophet (PBUH), and to hammer down their own dominance over the world, recognize no boundaries and honor no commitments. Therefore, the Prophet’s position is one of resistance. In addition to being a model of intellectual authority and a source of divine truths, he is commanded to resist, to stand firm, and to preserve strength against sworn enemies. Indeed, the same Prophet who is “a mercy to the worlds” confronts enemies with decisiveness.
He remarked: Today, Zionism and global arrogance commit unprecedented atrocities and crimes openly, before the eyes of all. These reports are unbearable; even hearing them or seeing the images broadcast on television is beyond imagination. They attack hospitals with incendiary materials, targeting the oppressed who have sought refuge in tents and medical centers.
In conclusion, Ayatollah Abdollahi expressed hope: May God, through the collective efforts of scholars and thinkers of Islamic schools, who proclaim the call of the Qur’an and the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) for unity, rapprochement, avoidance of weakening Muslims, and rejection of discord, preserve the Islamic Ummah and increase its dignity through steadfastness and strength.
