Israeli regime surpasses Hitler in committing crimes: Turkish president

Tehran, IRNA - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has again condemned Israel’s ongoing genocidal war on Gaza, saying the Zionist regime surpasses Nazi leader Adolf Hitler in committing crimes, including massacres of nearly 14,000 innocent Palestinian children in the besieged Strip.

According to IRNA's Thursday morning report citing the Turkish state media, Erdogan during the meeting of his Justice and Development Party said that the unconditional support of the West has emboldened the Zionist regime to keep massacring Palestinians both in Gaza and the West Bank.

The killing of innocent civilians is one of the most shameful events in the history of mankind, he said.

Erdogan compared the struggles of the Palestinian resistance groups with Turkey's war of independence more than a hundred years ago and said: We know very well that a price must be paid to achieve independence.

Turkey stands by its Palestinian brothers and sisters in every way, h emphasized.

According to the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), more than 13,800 Palestinian children have been killed since the start of the war on Gaza in early October, last year.

As the Israeli onslaught continued in Gaza, the Palestinian Health Ministry announced on Wednesday that the number of martyrs of the Israeli attacks on Gaza Strip from October 7 has increased to 33,899 and the number of wounded has increased to 76,664.
