Managing General of the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) Ali Naderi said in a meeting with a visiting Syrian media delegation in Tehran on Wednesday that the Iranian government and nation have always been standing by the Resistance Front and the Syrian nation.
Naderi hailed the resistance of the Syrian nation in the fight against the global arrogance.
He said that the expansion of cooperation between IRNA and Syrian media, SANA news agency in particular, can have a significant role in media convergence between the two countries.
The IRNA chief wished success and prosperity for the Syrian nation during the reconstruction era as they came out triumphant in the fight against the terrorist groups.
He urged the need for launching a joint action plan between IRNA and SANA to help media cooperation between the two countries.
Naderi said that IRNA is ready to share experiences with Syrian media in different areas.
In the end, the Syrian media delegation that was headed by the country’s deputy minister of information toured different parts of IRNA headquarters in Tehran, including IRNA newsrooms, and get familiar with the process of news production in the agency.
