This is going to lead to “the panels for the correct conclusions,” Al-Ashal added to his words.
Asked about his idea about the new approach taken by the Iranian government toward neighborhood policy, he replied “This policy is very important for the moment…Iran is extending its hands and I witness that.”
About the relations between Cairo and Tehran, he said “In fact, Cairo is not against Iran.”
Egypt well understands there are some limitations to promoting bilateral ties, but they’re trying to overcome these obstacles, Al-Ashal added.
When asked about the major reason behind regional problems and the solution for them, the official referred to Israel as the major obstacle to relations between Iran and its neighbors as Israel has implanted conspiracy in the whole region.
Israeli project is [in vain] to demolish Iran, he underlined.
Further, he said Iran supports resistance everywhere.
The third Tehran Dialogue Forum under the title of Neighborhood Policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran: An Approach to Friendship and Trust kicked off in the Iranian capital on Monday morning with the participation of 70 scholars from 36 countries.
The first and second editions of the forum were convened three and two years ago.
