Minister: Lt. Gen. Soleimani recorded in history as symbol of Muslims’ pride

Iran’s Culture and Islamic Guidance Minister Mohammad-Mehdi Esmaeili said the name of Haj Qassem Soleimani has been recorded in history as one of the important symbols of pride for all Muslims in the world.

The minister wrote the message on his Twitter account on the second anniversary of the martyrdom of Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani, reported farhang.gov.ir.

In addition, Al-Huda International Cultural, Artistic and Publishing Institute published four magazines in four different languages on the subject of Soleimani to commemorate the second anniversary of the general’s martyrdom.

The institute published articles, opinions, editorials, and interviews in the monthly magazines of ‘Al Wahdah’ in the Arabic language, ‘Echo of Islam’ in English, ‘New Iran’ in the Urdu language, and ‘Iran’s Speech’ in the Russian language, IRNA wrote.

The personality traits, commanding dimensions, components of military doctrine, as well as the spiritual and moral qualities of the general were introduced and explained as strategic components of the ‘Soleimani School’.

Lieutenant General Soleimani, the commander of the Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the second-in-command of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units (PMU), were assassinated in a US drone strike in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad on January 3, 2020.
