For What Sin Were They Killed?

By: Kayhan Int’l

With the slain lying unburied, the blood still fresh on the ground, and the world in a state of shock, the macabrely murderous ungodly takfiri terrorist outfit that masquerades as Muslim, unabashedly claimed responsibility for last Sunday’s savage slaughter of eleven members of the Shi’a Muslim Persian-speaking Hazara community in Mach, near Quetta the capital of Pakistan’s Balochistan Province.

"For what sin were they murdered?” is the question on the lips of Muslims in Pakistan and all over the world, whatever their school of Islamic jurisprudence, whether Sunni or Shi’a, at the gruesome murder of the innocent coalminers by the terrorists, who, without the least doubt have no connection to Islam.
Daesh, ISIS, or whatever these US-Zionist agents are called, after having been thoroughly defeated in Syria and Iraq, thanks to the joint mobilization of Shi’a and Sunni Muslims under the command of Iran’s martyred anti-terrorist icon, General Qassem Soleimani, have begun to brazenly raise their ugly heads in Afghanistan and Pakistan, where these Godless goons have been brought in by the Americans.
It is now high time for the government in Islamabad to seriously go after these anti-Islamic terrorists who indulge in target-killing of Muslims, whether Shi’a, Sunni, or Sufi, and hand them the deserving punishment for their seditious acts to destabilize Pakistan.
It is rather unfortunate that Pakistan’s 30-percent Shi’a Muslim population, and especially the Hazara community with its own distinctive features that makes up over half of Quetta’s one million population has been suffering for the past three decades at the hands of various terrorist outfits that shamelessly style themselves as Muslims.
These takfiri groups that brand all Muslims as infidels have a clear mission to distort the visage of Islam. They have not even the remotest connection to the Sunna and Seerah (practice and behaviour) of the Mercy unto the whole creation, Prophet Muhammad (SAWA), except bearing Muslim names and deceiving the naïve and simple persons through outward performing of congregational rituals devoid of the letter and spirit of Islam.
Otherwise they would never have indulged in organized killing of Muslims, especially the followers of the Jurisprudential School of the Prophet’s Ahl al-Bayt, who diligently adhere to the genuine message of the Holy Qur’an – Almighty Allah’s last and final heavenly revelation for all mankind.
It is obvious that what makes a Muslim is the recitation and adherence to the "shahadatayn” or two-fold testimony on the indivisible Oneness of Allah and the mission of Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) as Messenger of Allah.
It is an undeniable fact that unlike the Jews, Christians, Hindus, and others, who are divided into scores (if not hundreds) of sects, having differences on the fundamentals of the faith they claim to follow, and having contradictory versions of the Torah, Evangel, etc., Muslims, whether Sunni, Sufi, or Shi’a, are remarkably united in their basic beliefs. All believe in Towheed (monotheism); regard Prophet Mohammad (SAWA) as the Last and Greatest Messenger; recite the same single Holy Qur’an; turn towards the Holy Ka’ba in Mecca during the 5-times a day ritual prayers; fast in the same month of Ramadhan, perform the Hajj pilgrimage on the same dates of the month of Zilhijja.
Then what was the sin of the poor Hazara Shi’a coalminers of Quetta who were separated from fellow workers by the takfiri terrorists in the Mach area of Bolan District, southeast of Quetta, and murdered in cold blood with their hands ties behind their backs?
It should be recalled that the Persian-speaking Hazaras are the frequent target of these terrorist groups. In 2013, three bombings had killed more than 200 people in Hazara neighbourhoods in Quetta.
In view of these undeniable facts, what Pakistan needs is a military/security genius of the calibre of Martyr Qassem Soleimani to gather Sunni and Shi’a Muslims on the platform of Islamic unity and mobilize them for dealing the death blow to the dastardly Daesh outfit.
The Pakistani government should search out such a charismatic person to safeguard the prestige, stability, peace, prosperity, and independence of the country. The Islamic Republic of Iran with its vast experience in the trans-border anti-terrorism campaign will surely help its friendly and fraternal neighbour.
