White House strong subordinate of Zionist regime

Italian scholar told Qodsna

Speaking exclusively to Qods News Agency, an Italian political expert and historian, Claudio Moffa talked about the recent upheavals in the US internal policies, Joe Biden’s new government and its effects on the Middle East.

Qodsna (Tehran) - The Italian academic talked about the presidency of Donald Trump saying that “The Trump presidency represented a very negative turning point in the varied Middle Eastern politics of the United States from the 1950s to today.”

“The flashes of autonomy from Israel soon turned out to be a bluff - see the declared but unsuccessful withdrawal from Syria in 2019 - while the facts revealed a very strong subordination of the White House to the Zionist regime. There are too many pain points: the move of the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem; the attribution to Israel of sovereignty over the occupied Syrian Golan in 1967, in blatant violation of International Law; the refusal to accept the agreement with Tehran on nuclear power, already shared by Obama with the Europeans; and above all the criminal assassination of General Soleimani,” he explained.

Moffa then stressed that these are “salient facts” that will be remembered as “a stigma for the White House” in the post-Trump era.

Talking about the difference between Biden and Trump’s foreign policies towards the Middle East, Claudio Moffa noted that “Biden seems to want to change direction; he mentioned, for example, an opening to Iran on the nuclear question.”

“But on his declared goodwill weighs not only his possible 'duplicity' but also some sure or at least probable facts: in the Middle East the reaction of Saudi Arabia and Israel who have already warned him not to change course; and at home, both the direct pressures of the Israeli Lobby whose influence on Washington's foreign policy is now well known,” he added.

The Italian expert also talked about former US presidents’ actions towards Israel “who have refused to follow Israel's warlike choices.”

In an example, Moffa said that many have attributed the assassination of John F. Kennedy to Mossad agents because of his approach in foreign policies.

Referring to recent normalization deals between the Zionist regime and some Arab states, the Italian scholar also stressed that reconsideration in this regard “depends on both Biden and their willingness to change.”

The Italian scholar also answered a question about challenges that Israel would face in the post-Trump era, saying that the growing power of the resistance axis in the region is the main challenge of the Zionist regime.

Moffa also noted that “there is always the so-called "Deep State" in the US "democratic" System: the dismissal of Bolton by Trump has not changed this situation, and of course the US Deep State will never be pro-Arab and pro-Palestine, in a country where Israel Lobby is a power branched everywhere.
