Some 950 towns and cities throughout the world held the World Qods Day rallies on Friday with Tehran again having the honour of witnessing the most massive march of millions of Muslims calling for marshaling of all resources for the liberation of Islam’s former qibla, Bayt al-Moqaddas, and restoration of the Zionist-usurped land of Palestine, in all its entirety, to the Palestinian people.
While the clock ticks towards the Day of Destiny and end of the illegal entity called Israel, this year’s rallies assumed more importance, as Muslims worldwide dealt a decisive blow to the "Conspiracy of the Century” dubbed "Deal of the Century” by the US, the Zionists and the Arab reactionary regimes to force Palestinians to accept being thralls without any rights in their own ancestral lands.
This year’s rallies coincided with the plot of Saudi Arabia to host emergency meetings of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council (PGCC) to undermine the aspirations of the Ummah for the liberation of al-Aqsa Mosque by legitimizing the usurpation of Palestine and by trying to depict the Islamic Republic of Iran as ‘threat’ to the region.
This means, along with Israel, the unrepresentative Arab regimes who rule the spurious British-created and US-supported states that have no justification to exist – whether historical, geographical, cultural or political – have also realized that their doom in near.
In desperation, Riyadh is clinging to the American straw in the misconstrued belief of survival when the Aal-e Saud and the other reactionaries could have yielded to rational voices from their Muslim Arab masses to relinquish power and join the national mainstream as ordinary citizens enjoying all birthrights in their homeland of Najd, instead of courting people’s wrath through their treason against Islam and the unity of the Ummah and that too in the blessed month of Ramadhan.
May God exalt the soul of Imam Khomeini (RA) for his foresight in designating in 1979 the Last Friday (Jum’at-al-Weda) of the Fasting Month as World Qods Day in order to awaken the conscience of Muslims as well as all conscientious persons throughout the globe to the plight of the stateless people of Palestine!
In those days, when traitors like Egypt’s Anwar Sadaat, tyrants like Iraq’s Saddam, and Hypocrites like Khaled of Riyadh dominated the Arab World, the skeptics viewed the Father of the Islamic Revolution’s call for "weeding out the cancerous tumour called Israel” as a far-fetched idea.
Today, 40 years later (41 years to be exact since Ramadhan is a lunar month), when World Qods Day rallies have spread all over the world, including Europe and North America, even the skeptics are beginning to admit that the Sage of the Age, had foreseen the future.
His immortal words "the way to Qods proceeds through Baghdad” is a reality these days as is evident by the huge rallies the Iraqi capital has been holding for the past few years on the Last Friday of Ramadhan in support of the rights of the Palestinian people, while its Popular Mobilization Forces are taking practical steps to join their Syrian and Lebanese brethren on the Golan Heights to prepare for the eventuality of marching towards nearby Bayt al-Moqaddas.
This was the reason the intellectually-bankrupt, politically-paranoid, Islam-hating and Iranophobic US president, Donald Trump, in a desperate move, moved his country’s embassy to the Zionist-occupied Islamic holy city, and then endorsed Israel’s illegal annexation of Syria’s Gold Heights, in the vain hope of averting the inevitable.
The Dotard then dictated the ‘milk cows’ of the Persian Gulf, who provide him billions of dollars as protection money, to hold summits to implement the so-called "Deal of the Century” drafted by his Jewish son-in-law Jared Kushner in order to kill the Palestinian cause, simultaneous with his flexing of military muscles in the region on the assumption of browbeating Iran into submission – not just on the nuclear issue but also practical support for the Palestinian people’s resistance against Israel and their right to return one day to their ancestral homes and hearths.
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, has ruled out in clear words any idea of talks with the US, and yesterday’s rallies in Tehran and throughout Iran, which saw effigies of Trump and his team of thugs go up in flames, along with that of the children-killer Netanyahu, were indeed a referendum on the Islamic Republic’s unflinching stance on its national rights of "no negotiations on the nuclear issue, defence capability and regional influence” that includes the fast approaching goal of the liberation of Qods and end of Israel.
One of the indicators in this regard was the drone power recently demonstrated by the heroic resistance groups of Gaza in blowing up a couple of armoured Israeli tanks that definitely means the death of the "Conspiracy of the Century”.
