Israel deported British Labour parliamentarians Yuan Yang and Abtisam Mohamed, alleging they intended to document security force activities and criticize the regime.

Ms Yang, who represents Earley and Woodley, and Ms Mohamed, the MP for Sheffield Central, have been rejected and deported by the Israeli regime for allegedly documenting the activities of security forces and spreading anti-Israel hatred.

The Israeli immigration ministry said the two British parliamentarians were visiting Israel as part of an official delegation.

Although the Israeli regime has rejected the claim made by the British lawmakers, U.K. Foreign Secretary David Lammy termed Israel’s treatment "unacceptable".

“I have made clear to my counterparts in the Israeli government that this is no way to treat British parliamentarians,” Lammy was quoted by The Guardian as saying.

He added that the U.K. government’s focus remains securing a return to the ceasefire and negotiations to stop the bloodshed, free the captives, and end the conflict in Gaza.
