Resistance is a religious duty Rodney Shakespeare

 Rodney Shakespeare

Tehran (Qodsna) – Iran witnessed nationwide unrest and protests in several cities. Iran accuses Israel and Western intelligence services of plotting to start civil war in Islamic Republic.

Pointing to the West's hostility towards Iran, especially in the management of this unrest, British political analyst, Prof. Rodney Shakespeare an exclusive interview with Qods News Agency said:  The West thinks Iran has no right to political independence. It thinks Iran has no right to own Iranian oil, i.e., to economic independence. It denies the right of Iran to cultural independence.

“Above all, in every way possible, the West is trying to engineer a “colour revolution” in Iran. The West is arrogant and badly motivated and should keep out of Iranian affairs”, he added.

Moreover, the West should become aware that it itself is showing signs of social disintegration and is not in a position to lecture others, Prof. Shakespear said.

The long term change in population total and, in particular, in population groupings could make impossible the maintenance of a racist, apartheid state of Israel, Prof. Rodney Shakespear added.

In an exclusive interview with Qods News Agency, British political analyst, Prof. Rodney Shakespeare spoke about the internal developments in Israel and the future of the cabinet of the regime and the future of the resistance in the West Bank during the new prime minister's term.

Qodsna: Despite Netanyahu’s effort to form a coalition cabinet, many Israeli experts and media do not have a positive view of the possible future cabinet. What’s your idea about it?

Rodney Shakespeare: Anything to do with Netanyahu involves a vicious, aggressive Zionism. And anything to do with Israel also involves a vicious, aggressive Zionism.

Qodsna: What are the most important internal problems of the Zionist regime and why are these problems constantly increasing?

Rodney Shakespeare: The long term change in population total and, in particular, in population groupings could make impossible the maintenance of a racist, apartheid state.

Qodsna: How do you evaluate the future of resistance in the West Bank during Netanyahu’s re-election as prime minister?

Rodney Shakespeare: Resistance is a religious duty going beyond the life of individuals to the eventual achievement of justice no matter how long the achievement takes.

Qodsna: Will there be a change in the equation of the conflict in the region with the axis of resistance?

Rodney Shakespeare: Because of its autocratic regimes, the West Asia region is fundamentally unstable and could suddenly explode into chaos. An Israeli attack on Iran, for example, and the ensuing Iranian response could have implications going far beyond anything conceived by Netanyahu and his crony friends.
