The US, whose seditious moves to try to weaken the religious majority of our region through support in the form of armed terrorism for the agnostic and treasonous elements – first in Iraq and then in Iran – have miserably failed, is now trying to target the growing popularity of the Islamic leaders of the Caucasus republic of Azerbaijan.
The laic regime in Baku, dominated by irreligious officials who are also averse to the patriotic aspirations of the Azeri people in making the country independent of the US and the illegitimate Zionist entity, on the concept of the Karimah state for their historically Islamic homeland, has on Washington’s orders unleashed a new wave of persecution.
It has arrested the charismatic Muslim leader, Haj Tale’ Baqirzade, and several other activists of the popular “Hussainiyoun” movement, on the wrong assumption that such repressive tactics would prolongation of the irreligious secular rule.
Though for the time being the devout Muslim masses of the Republic of Azerbaijan may reel under the oppression of the persecutors, the situation is bound to change in the long term and Islam will definitely triumph.
The southern Caucasus, which is historically, geographically, culturally, political, and religiously linked to mainland Iran, looks to the Islamic Republic for its future.
This is what irks the US, and its agents in the region, who have resorted to all illogical means, including, sedition, secession, secularism, and narrow racism, or rather chauvinism, in a vain bid to disrupt relations with Iran, if not destabilize the peace and security of the Islamic Republic.
In Iran, the dynamic laws of Islam are deep-rooted and will not be the least disturbed by a bunch of thugs, traitors, terrorists, and women of loose morals.
In the Republic of Azerbaijan also where the Muslim masses are keenly aware of the realities of the Islamic will not be swayed by the negative propaganda of either the authorities in Baku or that of the US, Israel, Saudi Arabia, and of course, Turkey. Ankara very well knows that this particular region was never Ottoman and the southern Caucasus continues to bask in the legacy of the Safavids.
Baqirzade’s imprisonment has shocked not only the region, but also almost all the world in view of the protests being voiced against his mistreatment in Europe, the Americas and Africa.
For instance, a huge rally took place in his support at the Abuja national mosque on Saturday, attended by Abdullah Musa, national secretary of the academic forum of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN).
The peaceful demonstrators chanted “death to the US” and “death to Israel.”
The Nigerian Muslims said “the essence of the rally is to show our solidarity with our brothers and sisters in the Republic of Azerbaijan, particularly their leader, Haj Tale’ Baqirzadeh. Therefore, every Muslim must stand against tyranny and oppression.”
A similar protest rally took place in Kano State to express the solidarity of Nigerian Muslims with the oppressed people of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Known for speaking up against the illegal ban on headscarves in schools, Baqirzadeh had called for more Islamic representation in the political system of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
All this is ample proof that agnostics, irreligious elements, and apostates, will not succeed in not just the Republic of Azerbaijan, but also in Iran and throughout the world.
