ICRO head: Iran ready to expand cooperation with neighboring, Muslim countries

Iran is ready to strengthen its cultural and artistic cooperation with neighboring and Muslim countries, said the head of Iran’s Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO).

Hojjatoleslam Mohammad-Mehdi Imanipour made the statement in a meeting with Iran’s ambassadors and cultural attachés held in Tehran’s Vahdat Hall on Tuesday.

A country’s macro-foreign policies are not overshadowed by the change of governments because the main policies are in place, but the 13th administration emphasizes cooperation and friendship with neighboring and Islamic countries.

Imanipour called Al-Quds Day the precious legacy of Ayatollah Rouhollah Khomeini, the late founder of the Islamic Republic, saying, “Al-Quds Day is to show the unity and integrity of the Islamic world in support of the holy Quds and the oppressed people of Palestine.”

“Recently, ICRO signed an agreement and a memorandum of understanding with Uzbekistan, and soon we will be in Kazakhstan, one of the largest centers of religious dialogue, for religious dialogue,” he explained about the organization’s program on expanding international ties.
