Eradication of civilizations and falsification of history

 Judaization Tunnels in Jerusalem

The Israeli occupation and its Antiquities Authority did not hesitate to falsify history in the occupied city of Jerusalem and try to impose a Jewish character on its landmarks specifically Al-Aqsa Mosque to achieve their goal of controlling Jerusalem including its sanctuaries and landmarks.

Among the most prominent of the occupation's attempts to change the Islamic character of the Holy City and impose the Jewish one are the public and secret Judaization tunnels. These tunnels are part of the effort to search for the alleged Temple and transform Al-Aqsa Mosque into a Jewish shrine and a tourist attraction that attracts Jews from all areas of the world.

Secret tunnels

Ehab al-Jallad, a researcher in Jerusalem affairs, indicated that there is something we do not know about dozens of forked tunnels especially in the Silwan area explaining that some of these tunnels are open for visits by the Israel Antiquities Authority. Some of them are still under restoration and excavation, and we do not know the extent of their size nor their numbers, according to Jallad.

Regarding the effects of the tunnels, Jallad said: "Their damage is tangible and concrete. They affected the foundations of nearby houses, walls were cracked, floors caved in, and ancient monuments were destroyed especially those of the Mamluk era."

He emphasized that there are many other unknown tunnels that we do not know about nor do we have any information about them.

In the same context, Robin Abu Shamsiya, a researcher in the Jerusalem history, revealed that there are six tunnels that can be accessed officially, while a seventh tunnel located below the Saadia neighborhood in the Old City is closed.

One of the most important tunnels is the western tunnel which is adjacent to the western wall of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and it is 596 meters long. The tunnel starts from Al-Buraq Wall and reaches under the Al-Omariya Elementary School, along what is known as the "Via Dolorosa".

Obliterating history

According to many researchers and specialists, the Israeli occupation tunnels are considered as an attempt to obliterate and falsify history by destroying Arab and Islamic landmarks and to make way for the false Jewish narrative that would ultimately lead to the re-building of the alleged Temple.

The occupation tunnels attract hundreds of thousands of foreign tourists annually as an attempt to brainwash the international public opinion by erasing and removing everything that is Arab, Islamic and Christian from the city.

These tunnels are also used to link the Jewish generations with a biblical bond which documents that Jerusalem is Jewish through forging the civilization and history.

The Israeli occupation aims at confiscating the historical and cultural rights of Arabs, Muslims, Christians and all people and civilizations who lived in Jerusalem.
