"Why was the moron welcomed in Beirut and Baghdad?”
This is the question on the lips of most Lebanese and Iraqis following Friday’s rabidly anti-Islamic remarks of French president, Emmanuel Macron, who earlier in the week had paid official visits to Lebanon and Iraq.
Even those Lebanese and Iraqis who are part of the government apparatuses of their countries are wondering how they had allowed themselves to be taken for a ride by an avowed enemy of Muslims who defends the Zionist tabloid ‘Charlie Hebdo’ and its republishing of the sacrilegious caricatures of the Prophet of Islam.
This is what happens when divisive minority factions backed by the West and its paid rioters on the streets, scheme to sideline popular patriotic forces, such as Hezbollah and the Hashd ash-Sha’bi, in order to bring about the collapse of independent governments of their own countries.
Weak unrepresentative executives propelled to power by the weird sectarian laws imposed on their countries are not their own masters, and thus not expected to serve the genuine interests of either their homelands or the religion they claim to follow – but without implementing its laws in society.
In other words, they can neither afford to refuse entry to the leaders of the former colonial countries nor have the courage during bilateral talks or joint press conferences to tell the arrogant visitors not to dictate terms to them, whether concerning national policies or regional and international relations.
Both in Beirut and Baghdad Macron the Moron insolently insulted the honour of the Lebanese and Iraqi Muslim peoples and the independence of the host countries. He told them what to do and what not to do.
He emphasized on how to ignore the rights and aspirations of the majority of the population at home, and at the regional level to forge ties with western client states (including the illegal Zionist entity) while distancing themselves from natural allies in the neighbourhood – the independent countries of the region.
In Beirut, Macron unabashedly said how France, exactly a century ago in 1920 during its short term League of Nations’ mandate of post-Ottoman Syria, had detached the area of Lebanon as a Christian-dominated land led by a president of the Maronite sect, to serve as a foothold for Paris and Europe – but which today, to the horror of the former colonialists is a Muslim majority state with Shi’a Muslims forming 40 percent of the total multi-religious population.
If there are any weaklings in Iran infatuated by Europe and the West, they should learn from the follies of the weak governments in the region, rather than further risk the dignity of the Iranian people and the power and prestige of the Islamic Republic by hoping for uneven relations with Paris, Berlin, London and Washington, which are the archenemies of the Muslim Ummah – as proven by the US breach of the JCPOA and the French president’s blasphemous remarks Friday.
Macron, speaking at a ceremony in Paris yesterday to mark France’s so-called democratic history, criticized what he alleged ‘Islamic separatism’ in his country and those who seek French citizenship without accepting what he shamelessly said "France’s right to commit blasphemy”.
He also criminally supported Charlie Hebdo, which in January 2015 had shocked the civilized world by publishing caricatures pertaining to the Prophet of Islam, saying "Freedom in France is inseparable from the freedom of expression including the right to blasphemy.”
In the coming weeks, Macron is expected to promulgate a so-called law to stigmatize France’s Muslim population, the largest in Western Europe.
Tehran which has strongly denounced the latest acts of blasphemy in Europe, makes it clear that as part of its policies it will never allow the enemies of Islam and Muslims – whether the Zionists or the western agents – to find a foothold in the region.
All patriotic and anti-terrorist movements of the region – Hezbollah, Hamas, Hashd ash-Sha’bi and others – ought to fully mobilize their forces to thwart the devilish designs of France, the US, the Zionists, and the treasonous Arab regimes, in order to defend the honour of the Almighty’s Last and Greatest Messenger, Prophet Muhammad (SAWA) and his universal message of Islam.
