The first two decades of the 21st Century have been concurrent with the emergence of a profound revolution in the global cultural arena. In these two decades, culture and art were impacted by Internet in an unimaginable manner.

Social networks are one of the most important accomplishments of mankind, which have displayed ample capacities in a diverse range of topics of importance, throughout the recent years. Needless to say, during the recent years, social networks have highly contributed in giving direction to terms of information dissemination, across the globe. Irrespective of the possible detrimental impacts of social networks in the life of mankind, it can be said that their benefits outnumber their drawbacks.

Meanwhile, currently, this figure has experienced significant growth, reaching roughly 5 billion times per day.
In the meantime, digital revolution has brought about a large number of positive and negative changes for the international community. Larger networks of people, and easier communications are part of the positive impacts of digital revolution. Only three previous technologies relatively made these accomplishments, which were namely steam engines, power generators, and print industry.
In addition to making changes in our everyday lives; digital revolution has covered a promising and fast paced path in the field of economy. In addition to transformation of jobs and skills; digital revolution has prompted major reformations in retail and print industries and may also change the face of transportation and banking industries in the near future.
Meanwhile, the cyberspace social networks play two major roles in changing the contemporary communities. On one hand, they promote the culture of masses of people and almost every member of the community can play a part in them. On the other hand, social networks are a feeding source for the community's elites; with the goal of innovation.
In the current era, globalization and mass media are so interconnected that consideration of the globalization process in the absence of mass media, especially cyberspace social networks, seems an impossible task.
