TEHRAN -- The Gohar-e Yās (Jasmine Gem) Exhibition will take place from December 8 to 12 at the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults, offering a comprehensive platform dedicated to family-oriented values, Iranian-Islamic lifestyle, and the creative economy.
Spanning more than four thousand square meters, the event is scheduled daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and is open to the public.According to Seyyedeh Marzieh Shafapour, director of the exhibition, the timing of this year’s event—coinciding with the birth anniversary of Fatima al-Zahra (sa) and the traditional celebration of Yalda Night—is intended to emphasize themes of family, cultural heritage, and community engagement.
She noted that the exhibition aims to provide a welcoming environment for families while supporting the visibility and growth of Iranian brands, particularly women-led and youth-driven enterprises with innovative design approaches.
The exhibition features a wide range of products, including women’s apparel, jewelry, handicrafts, and Yalda-themed goods. In addition, it hosts several specialized workshops designed for both exhibitors and the general public.
The sessions cover topics such as the application of artificial intelligence in business, body language, negotiation techniques, and legal consultation related to brand registration.
According to Shafapour, the training programs are structured to help emerging businesses address common operational challenges and enhance professional competency.
A key focus of this year’s event is consumer health and product safety, particularly within the textile sector.
Shafapour stated that part of the educational programming will examine fiber quality, fabric safety, and sustainable production methods. Concerns about low-quality textiles affecting skin health have made this issue a central point of discussion, and the exhibition aims to inform visitors about materials and manufacturing practices that support long-term well-being.
The event will also witness the unveiling of several new products selected through aesthetic and technical evaluation processes, with attention to color harmony and design standards. All participating brands have been asked to offer special exhibition discounts, with an emphasis on extending these price reductions directly to consumers.
Shafapour emphasized that Gohar-e Yās is intended to serve a wide demographic, providing a professional platform for brands that have had limited opportunities to present their work publicly.
The exhibition seeks to strengthen connections between creators and consumers while promoting a modern yet culturally grounded approach to Iranian lifestyle and design.
