It is suicidal to play with fire, which often burns to death those who ignite it.
If Trump the terrorist and his criminal clique at the Pentagon and the State Department think their dastardly air strike on either side of the Iraq-Syria border last Sunday that left 30 dedicated Iraqi servicemen martyred and over 50 others injured, is a message to the defeated Daesh desperadoes to regroup and resume the murderous campaigns against the people and popular mobilization forces of Iraq, then the U.S. is in for a big surprise.
Whatever the other intentions of the White House in violating the sovereignty of Iraq, whether to distract the attention of the American people from the scheduled probe by the Senate of the final impeachment of the already impeached Trump, whether to flex the old and aching muscles of the U.S. military following the grand naval maneuvers held recently in the northern part of the Indian Ocean by Asia’s three leading independent countries – Iran, Russia, and China – or whether to destroy the recently inaugurated highway linking Baghdad and Damascus, the U.S. has disturbed a hornet’s nest whose lethal stings will soon see its end in West Asia.
The unprovoked air strike has thankfully also undone the organized sedition of American poodles, Saudi Arabia the UAE, in undermining the legal government of Iraq through professional thugs posing as protestors to vandalize public buildings and Iranian property.
Tuesday’s massive rallies in Baghdad, Basra and other cities of Iraq that saw people of all strata of society join together to make bonfires of the U.S. flags and chant "Death to America” slogans were indicative of the terrible vengeance of the Iraqi people awaiting the U.S.
For the moment the U.S. embassy in Baghdad has breathed a sigh of relief as the angry protestors after scaling its walls, burning parts of them, and demanding end to the American presence, withdrew following gunfire by the American guards – perhaps to plan for organized action later on.
The situation, however, remains combustible, with thousands of protesters vowing to camp outside the so-called American diplomatic premises indefinitely. Their ability to storm the most heavily guarded zone in Baghdad was clear to all when a group of protesters ventured deep inside with only a glass pane separating them from the scared-to-death American guards, while the staffers had already fled to save their dirty lives, fearful of the prospect of ending up as captured spies, similar to the fate of the U.S. den of spies in Tehran four decades ago.
With the leaders of all political, religious, and ethnic groups denouncing with one voice the U.S. act of terrorism, and the venerable Marja’ in holy Najaf, Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Sistani, issuing a decree deploring violation of Iraq’s sovereignty, it is only a matter of time for the executive and legislative branches of the government to coordinate moves for formally ending the undesirable military presence of the Americans.
Meanwhile, the popular Hashd ash-Sha’bi forces, whose members were martyred in the air strikes have vowed to strike back, as per the place and time of their own choosing.
Donald the Dotard cannot do a damn thing, even if he blames Hashd ash-Sha’bi for the supposed death of an American contractor at a base near Kirkuk, which if true could have been the work of Daesh.
As declared by Moqtada as-Sadr, the political-religious leader of as-Saeroun, the parliament’s largest bloc of lawmakers, Iraqis will now work with each other to use legal and political means to kick out the Americans.
Hopefully, we would be soon seeing the end of not just the American occupation of Iraq, but also of the illegal U.S. presence in Syria.
