The ‘Nations of Paper' and the Fall of a New Goliath: An Islamic Reckoning for the Gulf's Hypocrites

The charred remains of Gaza’s children have barely been pulled from the rubble and yet the air continues to be thick with hollow words. While the world watched a genocide unfold, rancid oligarchs in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt, Pakistan and Jordan offered empty, rehearsed condemnations while quietly sharpening the very swords used to slaughter their Palestinian brethren. They banned any symbol of support for the resistance to Zionist slaughter. Instead, they stood in Washington receiving medals and in Riyadh delivering speeches about peace and the importance of obeying the orders of the rulers. But Allah SWT sees through the charade. 

The Quran defines this exact behaviour with chilling precision: it is the path of the Munafiqun, the hypocrites.

Now, a second front has exposed their treachery even further: the illegal war on Iran. As the American-Israeli axis launched aggression against the Islamic Republic, expecting a quick and decisive victory, these same Arab oligarchs quietly cheered, or at least remained silent, hoping that another Muslim nation would fall to the West. But Allah SWT has other plans.

The betrayal is no longer a whisper. It is well known that they have “intelligence-sharing” agreements that confirms that the rulers of Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt and Jordan have been holding secret joint drills with Israel while bombs fell on Gaza. They chose to integrate their air defences with the very power erasing Palestine. They became subcontractors for the siege, facilitating land and air routes to bypass the blockade, all while professing Islam with their hardened tongues.

And when the war drums beat against Iran, these same regimes remained silent; or worse, provided logistical cover for the Goliath of our age. They believed that the American war machine and Israeli technological superiority would crush the last bastion of resistance in the Muslim world. They believed the multi trillion dollar bases on their soil will save them from the “Shias are coming” narrative. 

But Allah SWT reminds us in the Quran of a timeless truth. In Surah Al-Baqarah (2:249-251), the Prophet Daud (David), a young shepherd with a sling, was sent against Jalut (Goliath), a giant clad in armour, feared by all. The army of Talut (Saul) looked at the giant and lost hope. But the faithful knew: "How many a small company has overcome a large company by permission of Allah SWT. And Allah SWT is with the patient." (Quran 2:249)

Daud killed Jalut . The giant fell. Not because of superior weapons, but because victory comes only from Allah SWT. Today, the United States and Israel have assumed the role of Goliath. They boast supposedly the most advanced air force, nuclear-capable submarines and the unconditional backing of the collapsing West. They launched an illegal war on Iran, expecting the Islamic Republic to crumble in days. They thought the giants of media propaganda, modern warfare, stealth bombers, cyber-attacks and economic siege, would be unstoppable.

Yet what do we see? Iran, a nation the hypocrites dismissed as isolated and weakened, is successfully defending Islam and Islamic lands. Its missiles pierced the so-called, now rusted and leaking  "Iron Dome." Its drones is humiliating the world’s most advanced air defence systems. And the American-Israeli axis of evil, the new Jalut , is being routed; not destroyed in one battle, but exposed as fragile, exhausted and unable to achieve a single strategic victory.

This is not a coincidence. This is Allah SWT’s plan. To the oligarchs in Riyadh, UAE, Cairo, Amman and Pakistan (who comically proposed a Nobel Peace Prize for Trump), you thought you could ally with Goliath. You thought that by normalising relations with the oppressor, you would gain security and honour. But Allah SWT has shown you a sign. The giant you bowed to is bleeding. The nation you were forced to fear and conspired against, Iran, has stood firm. Not by its own power, but by the mercy of Allah SWT.

Allah SWT warns in Surah Al-Munafiqun (63:4): Hypocrites are "as if they were pieces of wood propped up." They look impressive from the outside, propped up by Western aid and weapons, but inside they are hollow. And they fear the truth; that Allah SWT is already humbling their masters.

In Surah An-Nisa (4:139), Allah SWT says: "Those who take disbelievers as allies instead of the believers; do they seek honour with them? Indeed, all honour belongs to Allah SWT." 

Your seats at the White House table will not save you. Your alliance with the new Jalut will not protect you when his sword is taken away. The successful defence of Islamic lands by Iran and Yemen and Hizballah and Hamas and many other Mujahids is a direct rebuke to the hypocrite rulers. It proves that when a Muslim nation places its trust in Allah SWT, refuses to bow to the West and stands for justice, even against overwhelming odds, Allah SWT sends His divine support. 

The Quran says: "If you support Allah SWT, He will support you and plant firmly your feet." (47:7)

Iran is not supposed to win. The media told you so. The American and the Zionists told you so. The generals told you so. But Allah SWT is Al-Qadir (The All-Powerful). He chose to humiliate the new Goliath through the hands of a nation the hypocrites despised. This is a lesson for the entire Ummah: Giants fall. Only Allah SWT remains. Do not think that your palaces, your billion-dollar arms deals, or your American/Zionist security pacts will shield you from the Fire. The blood of the orphans of Gaza is a witness against you. Your silence as Iran has been illegally attacked and your secret hopes for its defeat, are a witness against you.

Allah SWT has promised in Surah At-Tawbah (9:68): "Allah SWT has promised the hypocrites... the fire of Hell, wherein they will abide eternally." Repent before it is too late. For the giant you trusted is already crumbling, and the Hand of Allah SWT is reaching for the necks of the betrayers.

"So do not weaken and call for peace while you are superior. And Allah SWT is with you." (Quran 47:35) , a verse for the believers and a warning for the hypocrites who chose the wrong side.
