According to Taghrib News Agency(TNA), Fariduddin Nasiriov made these remarks on Wednesday evening during the second day of the 17th International Festival of Ethnic Culture, held at the International Exhibition Center in Gorgan.

Stressing the necessity of expanding economic cooperation, he noted that Iran and Uzbekistan share deep cultural and historical bonds, which have paved the way for the development of bilateral relations.

The Ambassador praised the festival’s high quality and expressed gratitude to its organizers, highlighting that 21 Uzbek artists in music and handicrafts are participating in this year’s event. He added that their performances would create a cultural evening for attendees.
Nasiriov emphasized that the year 2025 is a historic and significant year for Uzbekistan, as relations with Iran have reached their highest level in diplomacy and politics. He further noted that tourism development is one of Uzbekistan’s main priorities, with two cities designated as tourism capitals.
