Racist and Islamophobic attacks in Europe and the United States are increasing day by day. The most recent example was the attack on a mosque in Stockholm, Sweden, and the desecration of the Holy Quran by extremists.

The deliberate and repeated insults to the Holy Quran, whether in the United States, European countries, or anywhere else, cannot be interpreted as isolated incidents and separate from the reality of the widespread war that is underway against the Muslim world. Rather, these insults reflect a broader trend in a war that has targeted the identity of the world’s Muslims.

This war has been launched by the global arrogant powers with multiple objectives, including measuring the reaction of Muslim public opinion and the extent of their adherence to the Holy Quran, which is the spiritual and religious authority of more than two billion Muslims.

Therefore, the repetition of such offensive acts is part of a widespread hostility whose roots go back to the beginning of Islam. Throughout history, Jews have waged an open religious war against Islam and Muslims, and they are currently trying to turn holy texts into a psychological and ideological weapon with the aim of alienating Muslims from their identity and continuing a constant conflict with them.

The recent incident in which an American insulted the Holy Quran, two years after (the start of) the massacre of the people of Gaza by the Zionist regime, is a very dangerous indicator of the transformation of the incitement of Muslim sentiments into a propaganda tool.
