Iran is the Leader of the Resistance Axis Against Global Arrogance, Hegemony, and International Zionism

Political Analyst in an Interview with TNA

Dr. Hamid Momeni, in an interview with Taghrib News Agency(TNA), emphasized that “what guarantees the survival of the Islamic world today is unity—unity in its practical and Qur’anic sense.”

He added that the Islamic world is currently facing unprecedented and widespread attacks from Western powers and hostile actors, and therefore Muslims must remain vigilant in the face of this all‑encompassing aggression.

Highlighting that a significant portion of these hostilities target the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Momeni noted: “Among Muslim nations, it is the Islamic Republic that stands firmly against the enemies of the Islamic world. Today, Iran is recognized as the herald of Muslim unity across the globe. Thus, other Islamic countries must stand alongside Iran to safeguard the values of Islam against its adversaries.”
The university professor further explained that the enemies have imposed the harshest economic, political, and military sanctions in history on Iran in an attempt to force it to abandon its ideals of freedom and independence. “Yet this wish has never been fulfilled,” he said.
Dr. Momeni acknowledged the economic challenges within the country but stressed: “Undoubtedly, if any other nation in the world had faced sanctions of this magnitude, it would have collapsed long ago. However, thanks to the resilience of the Iranian people, these sanctions have ultimately failed.”
He reiterated that the enemy continues to apply pressure in hopes of weakening the Resistance Axis, fully aware that Iran is its central pillar in the global struggle against arrogance, domination, and Zionism.
Referring to efforts by hostile powers to create unrest inside the country, Dr. Momeni stated: “The enemy has launched a full‑scale hybrid war against the Islamic Republic and is highly optimistic about its outcomes. Therefore, we must act with utmost vigilance and never fall for psychological warfare or orchestrated rumors.”
He concluded: “As long as the Iranian nation and its political system stand united and move forward together, no power will be able to conspire successfully against the Islamic Republic.”
