TEHRAN, (MNA) – The closing ceremony of the First Edition of Imam Khomeini World Award was held at International Conferences Center on Wednesday night in the presence of President Masoud Pezeshkian.
The award was first approved by the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution in 2013 but was finally given a go-ahead in 2023, with amendments to its statute, level, and structure that is based on 10 thematic axes, including recognizing and introducing outstanding scientific, intellectual, and social works related to the thoughts and character of Imam Khomeini.
