Pres. Raisi says Motahhari's thoughts foundation of Islamic Revolution

The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ebrahiam Raisi underscored that the thinking of Morteza Motahhari, the great Iranian Shia scholar, was the basis of the Islamic Revolution.

The President of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi, in a meeting with members of the headquarters for commemorating the martyrdom anniversary of Morteza Motahhari, on Sunday called him a revolutionary jurist, philosopher, mystic, and politician and said: “Master Motahhari's thinking is the basis of the Islamic Revolution, and today we can use the capacity of his words, thoughts and teachings to expand and explain the teachings of the Islamic Revolution.”

The President noted: "The way to protect the minds of young people is to revive the thoughts and teachings of Martyr Motahhari and other elders, because their thinking can help strengthen the beliefs of the young generation."

Emphasizing that the principles of Martyr Motahhari's thinking are not time-oriented and are always alive, Iran's President noted that the secret of the permanence of Motahari's thoughts is that he recognized the society and its needs and provided intellectual, cultural, and ideological versions in accordance with it.
