TEHRAN (FNA)- Scott Bennett, a former US psychological warfare officer, says the founder and owner of Amazon has had contracts with the Central Intelligence Agency, making him a “big target” to be constantly spied on by Israel’s Mossad, this time through Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman Al Saud.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with FNA, Scott Bennett said “Jeff Bezos is one of the key people in America who could provide MbS with key intelligence information,” hence by hacking his phone Tel Aviv could spy on American politicians as well as people at the CIA.
Scott Bennett, Ph.D. (ABD) in Political Theory from the Catholic University of America in Washington DC, was in 11th Psychological Operations Battalion at Civil Affairs-Psychological Operations Command and worked in the highest levels of international counterterrorism in Washington DC and MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida.

Q: What has made Mohammad Bin Salman interested in hacking the mobile phone of Jeff Bezos?
A: Hacking phones is the best method to obtain secret human intelligence from phone calls, text messages, emails, and social media posts, as well as photographs taken. It is also the best way to obtain information of personal contacts, friends, loved ones of the person being targeted, so that these other people can be used as leverage or pressure points for manipulating or turning the targeted person. Jeff Bezos is a big target for MbS, as well as Israeli Mossad and the US CIA. He was formally designated the wealthiest person in the world by Forbes on March 6, 2018, with a net worth of $112 billion. US President Donald Trump accused Amazon – and Bezos, specifically – of sales tax avoidance, misusing postal routes, and anti-competitive business practices.
Jeff Bezos is one of the key people in America who could provide MbS with key intelligence information, and business planning strategy that Saudi Arabia could use to its advantage. As the founder, chief executive officer, and president of Amazon, Jeff Bezos is an American internet and aerospace entrepreneur, media proprietor, and investor who is pioneering key areas of Artificial Intelligence, cloud computing, and technology, and also has a contract with the CIA. His company, Amazon, is currently the world's largest online sales company, the largest internet company by revenue, as well as the world's largest provider of AI assistance and cloud infrastructure services through its Amazon Web Services arm.
Bezos purchased The Washington Post newspaper in 2013 for US $250 million in cash and manages many other investments through his venture capital firm, Bezos Expeditions. This means that MbS could also secretly observe the direction American journalism would be inclining, and if there were any stories, interviews, or legal cases being processed that might involve MbS himself, Saudi Arabia in general, the Saudi-Yemen war, or how Saudi-Iran-Iraq-Syria theater of operations.
The torture and murder of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi was one of the worst public relations events MbS could ever suffer in the eyes of the world, so no doubt he is trying to see any new information Bezos and the Washington Post or others might be discovering that might lead to the downfall of MbS.
Q: Pegasus, the software used to hack Bezos’s mobile, was developed by an Israeli firm. Why do you think MbS should receive such a service from an Israeli company? What did Israel have to offer in this case?
A: In 2013, Bezos secured a $600 million contract with the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) on behalf of Amazon Web Services. Israel’s Mossad is always spying on the United States, and in fact engaged in regular attacks upon American interests and US citizens — such as the U.S.S. Liberty attack and the New York September 11, 2001 attacks, and numerous other assassinations in Iraq that they Israelis regularly try to blame Iran for, as recently seen in the assassination of General Qassem Soleimani was.
The Israeli government therefore will use all means necessary to enhance their spying on the CIA and America’s politicians, and see MbS as a “useful idiot” or tool for them to indirectly spy on Jeff Bezos and all of his contacts — including people at the CIA and in government. Israel is also engaged in developing cyberwarfare tools, as in the case of the Stuxnet virus, and psychological warfare, such as the false reports of Iran creating nuclear weapons and preparing for war against the West (as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu did to the American Congress in deceiving them into war).
