Iran constantly supportive of Syria solidarity

Recent victories achieved by Syrian army is proof for strength and unity in the resistance axis as Islamic Republic of Iran has always been supportive of liberation of terrorist-held regions in the Arab country.

Hussein Kan’ani Moqaddam, political expert on Middle East issues in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) related on the objectives of Ali Larijani, Iran’s Parliament speaker to Damascus and Beirut stressing that the visit was made in line with extending the congratulatory message of Iranian nation on recent successes achieved in Idlib and Aleppo as well as reopening the Aleppo-Damascus route.
 
He said,” In fact recent victories achieved by Syrian army is proof for strength and unity in the resistance axis as Islamic Republic of Iran has always been supportive of liberation of terrorist-held regions in the Arab country.”
 
He referred to Iran’s support for Syria as part of Islamic Republic’s foreign policy and said,” Tehran has endeavored to prevent some countries, including the US and Turkey, occupying parts of the Arab country in alliance with terrorist groups.”
 
Hussein Kan’ani Moqaddam noted,” Since long we have signed a strategic agreement with Syria in line with aiding Damascus in a counter-terrorism campaign in the region and also mutual cooperation for renovation of the liberated areas from the grip of Daesh.”
